Show Has Ended! What A GREAT Year!
This years light show was a great success! We added a Virtual Santa! - Perhaps you saw him waving to you while he was putting presents under the tree!
The addition of the cash donation box, new sign and food box at the drives end really helped the girls community service project. They collected over $430 cash and just over 350lbs of food for our food shelf - The Community Action Council. You can read more here: http://www.communityactioncouncil.org/
Thanks to all that stopped to say Howdy to our family while we were tending to the lights! It was a pleasure meeting everyone. Have a fun and safe summer! Look for our Halloween Light Show starting two weeks before Halloween! It comes down promptly after Halloween. I'll post the dates and times later!
Some 2009 videos are posted at the left, please go to this youtube channel to view all videos:

2009 CHRISTMAS SHOW NOW ON!
Our 2009 Christmas Show is now running! The hours are from 5:30pm to 9:30pm Sunday to Thursday and 5:30pm to 10:30 on Friday and Saturday. We have 16 songs set to music this year. Added a "candy land" to the display and also a new snowman along with a new radio sign holder, and cash donation box! Be sure and check them out! (and leave a donation for the Community Action Food Shelf!)
We had help from a couple of college friends of Abby's - Craig, Monica and Alex, and a neighbor boy Kyle setting up the display this year! Thank you! I continue to tweak the show and display daily!
By the way - We collected 148lbs of food and $38.00 over our Halloween light display! Thank You! The food shelf was very happy for the donation right before the Thanksgiving Holiday! We had over 200 "Trick or Treaters" this year! It was a lot of traffic in the circle and lots of fun! The Community Action Council wrote:
Dear Jeff, Dorothy, Abby, and Brooklyn,
My name is Laurie Rieb. I am the Development Director here at Community Action Council. I came by your house one night before Halloween to see your light display. It was amazing! I sat and listened to Brooklyn on the radio and was very touched. It was a great display and I was amazed how the lights coordinated so well with the music! I just wanted to say Thank You for collecting food and donations for Community Action Council! You are making a difference in the lives of families right here in Lakeville!
Thanks Again!

If we are out in the yard working on the display be sure to give a shout out to us! Thanks and see you around. I'll be adding a few videos of the show soon. Jeff
